Jaipur
Jaipur is
the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once
ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or
“Pink City” for its trademark building color. At the center of its stately
street grid (notable in India) stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace
complex. With gardens, courtyards and museums, part of it is still a royal
residence.
Ajmer
Ajmer is a
city in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan. South of the city's artificial
Ana Sagar Lake is Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the domed shrine of the Muslim Sufi
saint Garib Nawaz. Nearby, a 16th-century palace built by the Mughal emperor
Akbar now houses the Ajmer Government Museum, displaying armor and stone
sculptures. A museum at the Indo-Saracenic–style Mayo College exhibits art and
taxidermied birds.
Jodhpur
Jodhpur is a
city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its
15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying
weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on on a
rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are
painted the city’s iconic shade of blue.
Itinerary
(4N/5D Trip to Jaipur, Ajmer and Jodhpur)
Day 1: Private
car will be waiting at Jaipur International airport. Airport transfer to the
hotel will be provided. Check in hotel. Free time for the guests to rest and
they may take a stroll in nearby market as per their choice. Night stay at
hotel.
Day 2:
Complimentary breakfast at the hotel. Guests will be taken in a chauffeur
driven private car for sightseeing in Jaipur. Guest will be dropped at hotel in
evening. Night stay at hotel.
Day 3:

private car to Ajmer. Local site seeing in Ajmer. Guest will be taken to Jodhpur same day and dropped
at hotel in evening. Night stay at hotel.
Day 4:

driven private car for sightseeing in Jodhpur. Guest will be dropped at hotel in
evening. Night stay at hotel.
Day 5: Complimentary
breakfast at the hotel. Guests will be taken in a chauffeur driven private car
and dropped back at Jaipur International Airport.

Jaipur:
1). Amer
Fort: Famous for its endearing mirror work, the fort and its history come alive
with the evening light and sound show. The elephant ride uphill to the fort
entrance and ‘Amber by night’ allows tourists to see the charmingly lit chowks
and mahals.
2). Jaigarh
Fort: Jaigarh fort is famous for the world’s largest cannon on wheels. Also, a
significant structure of the medieval period – Diwa Burj – has been maintained
very well over the year. The watch tower offers a scintillating view over the
plains.
3). Nahargarh
Fort: Since the fort is situated high up on the Aravali hills, it is famous for
its enchanting sunset views overlooking the entire Jaipur city. It’s also a
famous picnic spot as there is a cafe inside that serves snacks and drinks. An
important spot for sightseeing in Jaipur, the fort is beautifully lit at night.
4). City
Palace: The City Palace is famous for its serene amalgamation of rich
Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The intricately designed peacock gates are
one of its kind and the palace has vast courtyards, gardens, a museum, an art
gallery and a fascinating display of royal costumes and old weapons.
5). Jal Mahal
(The Water Palace): Jal Mahal, located in the middle of Lake Man Sagar, is one
of best places to see in Jaipur. This 5-storey palace has 4 storeys beneath the
surface of water that offer a unique underwater viewing experience. The
architecture is a fusion of Mughal and Rajput styles. The clear water of the
lake and the scenic views of the surrounding Aravallis make the palace look all
absolutely stunning, especially at night.
6). Hawa
Mahal (The Palace Of Winds): It is one of best places to see in Jaipur. The
immensely breezy palace provides a spectacular view of the city below. The
panoramic views of the palace and the shimmering city are a treat to the eyes.
7). Birla
Mandir (The Laxmi Narayan Temple): one of the most popular religious place in
Jaipur, is located at the foot of the Moti Dungri Hill in Jaipur. The temple,
built in white marble, has Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi as the main deities.
8). Galtaji
Temple: One of the buzzing tourist places in Jaipur, also known as Monkey
Temple is famous for its rather complex structure. It has three sacred pools of
water and is surrounded by two granite cliffs. You can actually spot a lot of
monkeys bathing in those pools.
9). Govindji
Temple: Govind Dev Ji Temple, located within the City Palace complex, is
dedicated to Lord Krishna. This temple is among the 7 temples of Thakur of
Vrindavan, including Sri Radhavallabh Ji, Shri Bankey Bihari Ji, Shri Govind
Dev Ji and four others. It was Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II who brought the
murti here from Vrindavan.
10). Sisodia
Rani Garden: Sisodia Rani Gardon, built 10 km from Jaipur in 1728, is
considered as a symbol of eternal love between Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and
Rani Sisodia Jai Singh. The garden has, ever since, been a getaway for the
queens of Jaipur. It is themed on the stories of love between Lord Krishna and
Radha. In addition to a tourist attraction, the garden is also a popular
wedding destination in Jaipur.
10). Central
Park: One of the largest and most colorful gardens in Jaipur, the Central Park
is located in the heart of the city. Musical fountain, temple, stone states,
206-feet national flag, and the 5 km long jogging and walking track are some of
the attractions of the park
11). Johari
Bazaar: Famous for its amazing collection of precious gemstones, costume
jewellery, bangles, traditional clothes, textiles and a lot more, Johari Bazaar
and MI Road are among key tourist places in Jaipur.
12). Bapu
Bazaar: The Bapu Bazaar boasts of an untouched legacy among the largest camel
leather market in the world. It is popular for its high-quality leather belts,
wallets, lamp sheds, and bags. But it is the fine quality Mojri shoes that have
made the market so popular.
13). Abhaneri
Step Well: Abhaneri, or Abha Nagri as it was originally named, is located in
the desert area 95 km from Jaipur. To counter the shortage of water in the
desert area, the locals invented the Chand Baori and other step wells to
reserve water for use in the dry seasons. This place soon started being used as
a cool place to relax in the hot summers.
14). Chokhi
Dhani: Celebrations never stop at the ethnic village resort of Chokhi Dhani.
The 5-star resort is a replica of a traditional Rajasthani village. Traditional
Rajasthani food, puppet shows, folk music, and traditional dance performances
add to the charm of this tourist place in Jaipur. Those who do not wish to stay
here can still enjoy these performances and food at the restaurant.
15). Elefantastic-The
Elephant Farm Inside A Village: Elefantastic famous for its unique concept of a
small elephant farm in a village. Here people love elephants and are educated
about their medicines, treatment, diet and so on. An Elephant safari is what
you can’t miss here!
16). Albert
Hall-The City Museum: Visit it to see a collection of local king’s portraits,
artefacts, handicrafts and paintings of the glorious past of the city and the
royal families.
17). Jantar
Mantar: It tells a lot about how people in olden times calculated or estimated
time. The huge Samrat yantra sundial – a time calculator, is really impressive.
Ajmer:
1). The
Ajmer Sharif Dargah: Located right at the end of a barren hill, the magnificent
tomb of Sufi saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti is one of India’s most important
pilgrimage center which is frequented by visitors of all faiths.
2). The
Mausoleum: The mausoleum features a huge gate built by the Nizam of Hyderabad.
The right side of the courtyard has the Akbari Masjid which is built of white
marbles and is of particular interest for the visitors. The courtyard boasts
another mosque built by Shahjahan and two gigantic cauldrons. Located at the
inner court of the Dargah, Shahjahan’s mosque is a superb building made with
fine white marble.
3). Adhai-din-ka-jhonpra:
Undoubtedly a chef-d'oeuvre of Indo-Islamic architecture, Adhai-din-ka-jhoupra
is situated on the outskirts of the city and is at a short distance from the
Dargah.
4). Ajmer
Museum: Once popular as the royal abode of Emperor Akbar, the museum features a
rich storehouse of the Mughal and Rajput body armour and delicate sculptures.
The edifice is built of red sandstones, which have been positioned in a square
pattern giving it a wonderful outlook.
5). Taragarh
Fort: The ruins of the Taragarh are a mere one and a half hour climb from the
Adhai-din-ka-jhopra. Looming high on a hill top the fort allows its visitor to
take a fine look at the entire city from here. All the military activities during
the Mughal Period used to happen at this site and later on it was utilized by
the British as a sanatorium.
6). Kishangarh
Fort: On your route to Jaipur, this ancient storehouse of art is located at a
distance of 27km from Ajmer. During the 18th Century, this place had one of the
best schools for miniature paintings. Now-a-days this small town of artists is
also popular for Gundelao Lake, Temple of Sri Kalyan Raii, Phool Mahal Palace
and Majhala Palace.
7). Ana
Sagar Lake: This beautiful lake, situated in the North of Ajmer, was created by
Anaji during 1135-1150 AD. Later the Mughal Emperors made some additional
modifications to further beautify the lake. The 'Baradari', a sandstone
pavilion was constructed by ShahJahan and the Daulat Bagh Gardens were created and
maintained by Jahangir. The lake is an interesting family outing spot.
8). Foy
Sagar Lake: There is another artificial lake, located 5kms off Ajmer, which is
worth a visit. Created during a famine relief programme, the lake was named
after the engineer who made the lake possible.
Jodhpur
1). Mehrangarh
Fort: Built around 1460 A.D. by Rao Jodha, Mehrangarh Fort is listed among the
most magnificent hill forts of Rajasthan. No wonder, it is one of the must
visit places in Jodhpur. Standing almost 100 feet above the city skyline, the
fort is built so flawlessly that you won’t be able to make out where the hill
ends and the walls begin. Unbeatable and impressive, this grandeur in red
sandstone is wrapped in an eccentric beauty. Needless to say, when travelers
look forward to the most remarkable tourist attractions in Jodhpur, this fort
is the foremost choice. It’s huge, thick walls surprise you with grand palaces
inside that are ornamented with intricate carvings. The colossal structure also
boasts of a museum that displays fascinating and precious artworks of great
historical value.
2). Jaswant
Thada: Your Mehrangarh visit is coupled by a trip to Jaswant Thada. As both the
monuments are at a stone’s throw, these are tourist places to visit in Jodhpur
in one day. Standing adjacent to Mehrangarh Fort, this is a cluster of majestic
cenotaphs in white marble. Built in 1899 A.D. in memory of Maharaja Jaswant
Singh II, the main cenotaph of these holds portraits of various Rathore rulers.
While visiting places in Jodhpur, at this place, you will feel tranquility all
around. Also, you will realize that it is more of a temple where deceased
rulers are worshipped.
3). Umaid
Bhavan Palace: Step into scrumptious luxury at Umaid Bhavan Palace – a
celebrated destination when it comes to famous places in Jodhpur. Among the
largest private residences on the globe, this palace is named after Maharaja
Umaid Singh, grandfather of the current owner Gaj Singh. Crowned with several
features that make it an exquisite structure, the palace has 347 rooms and a part
of it is operated by Taj Group of Hotels. This palace holds a prominent place
among places to see in Jodhpur. A museum is also housed in a part of this
magnificent structure. Don’t miss to see its galleries housing various regal
items, one gallery dedicated to display a variety of an item. For instance, a
gallery showcases a host of royal clocks, and one of those display royal

4). Mandore
Gardens: Brimming with cenotaphs, old temples, and several other Madore Garden
is another wonderful destination to take you for a trip back in time. The hall
of heroes, dedicated to Rajput folk heroes and several deities, stands close to
the cenotaphs. Their statues are carved in stone and flamboyant. The Shrine of
the Three Hundred Million Gods is another attraction of this garden. Climb up
the hill to have a look at the ruined city of Mandore with its old palace.
5). Osian
Temples: Another on the list of places to visit in and around Jodhpur is Osian.
This destination awaits you at a distance of 65 km from Jodhpur in the ancient
